Spring 2025: T-ball and Baseball

CO-ED T-Ball & All BASEBALL

TBALL |Ages 4-6 | Provides basic fundamentals of the game and introduces players to the concept of team play. Batting is off a Tee and soft safety balls are used. Scores are not recorded and teams switch offense and defense after everyone bats. There will be 10-12 games played on weekdays and/or Saturdays, and generally 1 or 2 practices during the week. Coaches pick practice times and days. Boys & Girls are combined. Fee $100.

COACH PITCH | Ages 6-8 | Baseball | Players advance to Pacific Coast League (Coach Pitch) at league age 7-8. At the beginning of the season, each batter gets 5 swings to hit the ball from coach pitch. From game 5 on transitions to player/coach pitch. Batters will receive 4 player pitches and 3 coach pitches. The focus will be on providing players a better understanding of the skills and concepts of the game. Basic skills are refined and kids will play all positions. Teams switch offense and defense after 3 outs. Games will be played during the week and on Saturdays. Fee $130.

MINOR | Ages 8-10 | Baseball| Regulation hardballs are used with live pitching and umpires calling balls & strikes and outs. Kids move up on field size and stealing bases is allowed. This is the entry into competitive, scored baseball with increased emphasis on basic skills, situation decision making, and teamwork. Umpires, scorekeeping & pitch counts are introduced. All players must attend Player Evaluation and a draft system is used to form teams. Games will be played during the week and Saturdays with other leagues in the district. Fee $150.

MAJOR | Ages 10-12 | Baseball: A continuation from the Minors level. Regulation hardballs are used with live pitching and umpires calling balls & strikes and outs. This is continuation into competitive, scored baseball with increased emphasis on basic skills, situation decision making, and teamwork. Umpires, scorekeeping & pitch counts are continued. All players must attend Player Evaluation and a draft system is used to form teams. Games will be played during the week and Saturdays with other leagues in the district. Fee $150.
